Allison Hartford  Ingalls

Mr. Allison H. Ingalls of Castalia, Grand Manan Island passed away on Tuesday June 2, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his loving family by his side.   

He was born at Ingalls Head, Grand Manan Island, the son of the late Hartford and Bessie (Trecartin) Ingalls.  Allison was a very quiet man; he started his fishing career with his father at the young age of 15, which lasted almost 50 years. Allison loved his garden, spending time at their cottage in Beulah, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his wife of fifty five years Geraldine (Dakin) Ingalls, three daughters Kendra (Arthur) Neves of Castalia, Trina Ingalls of Yarmouth, NS, and Cathy Ingalls of North Head, one son Rodney (Helen) Ingalls of Castalia. Eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one sister Arlene (Stanley) Small of Browns Flat, and many nieces and nephews.  Allison was predeceased by his parents, one sister Celia Pratt, one infant brother Herbert, one niece Sandra Gowan and three grandchildren Raeanne, Joshua and Riley.

Visiting hours will take place at Central Wesleyan Church on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM .The funeral service will take place from the Church on Saturday June 6, 2015 at 1:00  PM with Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating and Rev. Steven Brown assisting. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.  Allison’s family have requested donations be made to the Charlotte County Cancer Fund, Central Wesleyan Church or the donor’s choice.  Funeral arrangements are in the care of Ells Funeral Home Inc., 1199 Route 776, Grand Manan, NB E5G 1G2.
