Mr. William D. Mallock of Seal Cove, Grand Manan Island, NB. passed away unexpectedly while performing his duties as a Paramedic on Saturday August 16, 2014 at the Grand Manan Airport.  Billy, as he was known by many, the son of the late Theodore and Gertrude (Linton) Mallock on Grand Manan.  He was a kind, generous person who was always willing to lend a hand when needed, share stories, and never spoke an unkind word about anyone.  Family time was important to him as he shared it with his wife, Kathy. He enjoyed sporting events while their children were in school, watching plays the drama club performed, and enjoying their camper in the summer months.  His faith, family and kindness were Billy’s life and he set a good example for all who knew him. In 1972, Billy graduated from Bethany Bible College.  He spent a year preaching in Maine before returning  to Canada, becoming a carpenter, and serving many years on the Fire Department. For the last twenty years he was a Paramedic with ANB. He worked on the Island helping those in need and saving lives for which he will always be remembered. He is survived by his wife Katherine (Kathy) Mallock nee Gulliver.  His two children Valerie Mallock and Douglas Mallock of Grand Manan.  Two sisters; Charlene (Jerry) Crossman of Moncton, and Lucille (Walter) Steeves of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  One brother Ralph (Winnifred) Mallock of Fredericton.  Several nieces, nephews, and friends he made along his journey through life.
