Scott Outhouse

Mr. Scott Perrin Outhouse of North Head Grand Manan Island passed away unexpectedly at his residence Monday September 26, 2011.  His mother Maudie cared for and loved him from the day he was born until the final moments of his life. They were always together, whether it was for a drive to the Save Easy, or one of Scott’s stays at the hospital, they never left each other’s side for very long.  His basement apartment was the meeting place for many over the years and especially his special circle of close friends that enjoyed watching sports on the big screen, listening to music, sharing a few laughs about life, or just checking in to see how Scott was doing.  A beloved "Leafs" fan until the end Scott will be sadly missed by all who were able to know and love him over his short stay with us here and had a special place in the hearts of the friends he had made along the way.  He is survived by his mother Maudie Trecartin who devoted her life to Scott with her love, care, and friendship.  Also his brother Anthony (Carol Ann) Outhouse of Grand Harbour.  His sister Kimberley Allan of Grand Harbour, his niece Michelle (Chris) Simms of Grand Harbour, his nephew Michael (Janica) Outhouse of Castalia.  Allen (Annette) Newman who was like a brother to Scott, of Castalia.  His aunt Elaine Cossaboom of Montreal PQ.  Cousins Miriam McCracken of Sarnia, ON, Blaine Cossaboom of Grand Harbour, and Blanchard Cossaboom of Sherwood. AB.  Scott had many friends and will be missed by all who enjoyed his friendship.  He was predeceased by his father Glendon, one infant brother Joel.  His aunt and uncle Edison and Marion Outhouse, also his aunt and uncle Miriam and Eugene Cossaboom.  

Visiting for Scott will take place at Ells Funeral Home Thursday evening from 7 – 8:30 pm at that time a Memorial Service will take place from 8:30 – 9 pm with Rev. Ed Shaw officiating.  Scott’s family has requested that donations may be made to the White Head Community Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements are in the care of ELLS FUNERAL HOME INC. 1199 Route #776, Grand Manan, N.B.
