Helen Ingalls

NGALLS; HELEN LOUISE; 91 of Grand Harbour, Grand Manan, N.B. passed away on Thursday evening at the Grand Manan Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Born in Grand Harbour she was the daughter of the late LLoyd and Minie (Ganong) Dakin of Grand Harbour. Mrs. Ingalls was a very involved lady in the community, besides being a devoted wife and mother to her family. She was a member in the Grand Harbour Baptist Church, and served as Church Clerk for thirty-one years She was a book keeper for twenty one years, she served as Grand Harbour Postmistress for twelve years, the Grand Manan School Board for twelve years. Mrs. Ingalls is survived by one daughter Janice Marilyn Naves (Allison) of North Head, one grand son Jeff Naves (Jenny) of North Head, She iwas predeceased by her husband Hayward Basil Ingalls who passed away August 16th, 2010. She was predeceased by one son Clive, one grandson Michael, two sisters Carolyn Dakin, Margaret O'Dell, two brothers Clayton and Ronald Dakin. A private commital service will be held on Sunday, Sept. 5th, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Castalia and a memorial service will be held on September 18th, 2010 at 1:30 PM at the Grand Harbour Baptist Church, with Rev.
