David Colby Carroll
David spent his life on White Head and in his early years worked with his father on the Sojourner providing ferry service from White Head to Ingalls Head, Grand Manan. David had many jobs throughout the fishery and worked hard at all of them. He was well liked and respected by the men that fished along side of him. Owning his own Lobster Boat The Golden Daybreak and fishing gear was his life’s work and passion. “Stop by for a Visit” was an invitation always heard from David where everyone was, and made to feel welcome in his home, or when he was at work in his shed.
Along with his parents he leaves behind the love of his life his wife Diana at home; one son Darren of White Head; one step daughter Megan Ossinger (Ben) of White Head; one stepson Stephen Zwicker (Marlene) of Castalia; one sister Christine Morse (Blake) of White Head. His grand children Alex, William, Hayley, Abbigail, and Elizabeth, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
