Harry Wellington Greene

 

Mr. Harry Wellington Greene, of North Head, Grand Manan, NB, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, July 29, 2021 he was 92. Born in Castalia, Grand Manan, NB, he was the son of the late Charles Edward and Viola (Mason) Greene. 

Harry was a fisherman, picking, buying and selling dulse until he retired in 2012. Harry was a member of The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers. He could be found singing and playing guitar at the Farmers Market, and special events for fund raisers.   

Harry is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Green, of Seal Cove; sons Roger (Faye) Guptill, Curtis Parks of St. George, Elton Greene of Castalia, Dornell Greene of Castalia; grandchildren, Eric Green, Adam Guptill, Carla Greene, Courtney Guptill, Alicia Briggs; great grandchildren, Christian and Hayden Green, Talon and Dakota Guptill, Kenna Bryson, Riley, Vincent, Wyatt, Sophia Briggs; one sister Marion Eagles of Rothesay, NB also many nieces and nephews.

Harry is predeceased by her parents, his wife, Lena (Guptill) Greene; son Russell Guptill; grandson Jeffery Guptill; sister Hazel Greene; two brothers Allan Greene and Beverly Greene.

There will be private Funeral Service for family. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
