Judson Alton Green

Mr. Judson Alton Green, of Seal Cove, Grand Manan, NB, passed away on Sunday, August, 23, 2020 at the Grand Manan Nursing Home, he was 97. Born on Wood Island, NB, he was the son of the late Alton and Gladys (Griffin) Green. 

Judson was a fisherman and a member of the Seal Cove Wesleyan Church until it closed. He loved building miniature replicas of light houses, and cut and split a lot of cords of wood. Judson loved music and singing in the church choir.

Judson is survived by his, daughters, Betty Jean Greene, (Late James Greene) of Brownville, and Donna Tatton; son Leroy Markee (Patty) of Seal Cove; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.

Judson  is predeceased by his parents, his wife Leona (Chute) Green, daughters Rose Marie Dakin, Amanda Lively; three sisters Jessie Calder, Marjorie Green, one brother DeVerne Green Sr.

There will be visitation on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the Seal Cove Baptist Church from  7:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral Service will be on Wedesday, August 26, 2020 from the Seal Cove Baptist Church at 1:30 PM. Limited seating due to Covid restriction. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
