Elizabeth Mae Fletcher

Ms. Elizabeth Mae Fletcher, of Grand Manan, and originally of White Head Island, NB, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 at The Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB, she was 65. Born in North Head, Grand Manan NB, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred (Woody) (2012) and Barbara (Banks) Fletcher (2015).

Elizabeth worked in the payroll department for NB Tel / Aliant in Saint John for 30 years; she took early retirement and moved back to White Head to help look after her parents, worked part time at Spruce Hill Shop for over 10 years. Elizabeth attended the White Head Baptist Church. She loved her flower gardens, enjoyed cross border shopping with her sister-in-law, Sandra, and most of all, Elizabeth loved her time spent with her family, especially her niece Alex and nephew Matthew, and she was their second mother. 

Elizabeth is survived by her loving brother, Theodore (Ted) Fletcher of White Head Island; special niece Alexandra (Andre) Pothier of Halifax, NS; one special nephew Matthew Fletcher of White Head Island, one sister, Colleen (Murry) Perrin of North Battleford, SK;  many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Elizabeth is predeceased by her parents, one sister, Carol Ann Outhouse (2016), and her sister-in-law Sandra Fletcher on May 9, 2020.

Due to current restrictions, service will be by invitation only.
