Wanda Linton
1944-2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Marilyn Linton of Grand Manan. She went home to be with the Lord on October 17th, 2019 with her loving family by her side.
Wanda was born June 14, 1944, the daughter of the late Richard(Dick) and Alvina (White) Ingersoll . She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Wanda was a very strong and amazing mother of 8 children. Survived by Jeff (Kathylyn) Linton of PEI, Debbie (Steven) Miller, Lorraine (Norris) Worthen, Grant Linton, Kathy Frost (Kevin Boynton), Kevin (Gloria) and Bud Linton, all of Grand Manan. As well 15 Grand-children and 21 Great -Grand Children.
Wanda was pre-deceased by her husband Arnold Linton of 57 years. Son Richard, sister Twyla Ingersoll and infant brother George.
Mom had a very special home care worker Patsy Linton and an Extra Mural team, who all went above and beyond their call of duty. Thank you from the depths of our hearts.
We the family have requested donations be made to the Diabetic Association or the Grand Manan Food Bank.
Visitation to be held from Lighthouse Church October 19, 2019 from 6-8 PM. Funeral Service to be held from the Light House Church, October 20th, 2019 at 1:00 pm, with the Rev. George Clark and Tim Guptill officiating.
