Holly Noreen Ritchie

Mrs. Holly Noreen (Russell) Ritchie, 59, of North Head, Grand Manan, NB, passed away, on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the Grand Manan Hospital, with her loving family by her side.

Holly grew up in Woodward’s Cove, in large and loving family. Holly was the daughter of the late Bernard and Deanna (Brown) Russell.  In her younger years, Holly worked at the Marathon Inn. In 1985 she married John, and soon after they started their family. Holly was a proud stay at home mom, and she was a very busy wife, sister, aunt, and mother. She looked after John’s bookwork for his fishing business, and she always  had time for a coffee and a visit. She will be missed by all who know her. 

Holly is survived by her husband John Ritchie, of North Head, three daughters; Tamara Martin (Jonah)  of Charlottetown, PE, Breanna Ritchie (Calvin Power) of Grand- Bay -Westfield, NB, Marena Ritchie (Jason Guptill) of Saint John, NB, one granddaughter Aubree Guptill; two sisters, Rhonda Hettrick  (Chris) of Deep Cove, Jennifer Russell of Castalia; three brothers, Phillip Russell (Rosemary) of Castalia,  Troy Russell (Julie) of Ingalls Head, and Blaine Russell (Julie) of Woodward’s Cove; two brother-in-law, Donald Ritchie of North Head and Gerald Ritchie of Vancouver, BC, many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

There will be visitation on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at The Lighthouse Church from   2 – 4 and 6 - 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 from The Lighthouse Church at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
