Daphne Lynn Foote

1959-2019

Mrs. Daphne Lynn (Guthrie) Foote, of Penfield, NB passed away peacefully at The Saint John Regional Hospital, after a sudden and unexpected illness, on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, with her family by her side.

 

Daphne was born in Mark Hill, Grand Manan, NB, daughter of the late James Guthrie and Mary (Lavigne) Olmstead.

 

Daphne was a Registered Nurse for many years, nursing at Centracare and Addiction Services. Daphne enjoyed time with family and friends, bible study, and church services in recent years. Daphne will be missed dearly by her family and many friends.

 

Daphne is survived by her children; Allan (AJ) Foote (Brady Rimes) of Saint John, NB, Christopher Foote of Orilla, ON, Darla Foote (Jeffrey O’Brien) of Quispamsis, NB; granddaughter Taylor Fennelly of Quispamsis, NB; one sister Ressa Brotheton of Alberta; three brothers Sterling Mercier of Detroit, Eric Guthrie of Saint John, NB, Mark Guthrie of Saint John, NB, as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

Daphne is predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Hannah Mullen, Camilla Brown; two brothers, Stuart Guthrie and Clarence (Clary) Guthrie.

 

There will be visitation at Ells Funeral Home, on Saturday, January, 19, 2019 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, immediately followed by a Funeral Service. Interment will be at Spruce Grove Cemetery at later date.

 

Memorial donations may be made to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
