Henry Owen Harris

Henry Owen Harris, of Castalia, Grand Manan, NB passed away unexpectedly at The Grand Manan Hospital on Monday, May 21, 2018.

 

Born on Grand Manan, Henry was a fisherman, he started his career at age 14, he loved the outdoors, was good at so many things, he was looking forward to planting his vegetable garden, and he loved spending time with family and a specially his children.

 

He will be missed by his partner and best friend, Jill Brown of Castalia, his five children that he cherished, Rena Harris (Andrew) of Grand Harbour, Drew Harris of Grand Harbour, Colton Harris of Castalia, Ocean Bedeau of North Head, Allegra Green of Seal Cove, one grandson, King Henry Clinch, his mother Mary Nell Flagg (Sandy) of Castalia, his father Brian Harris of Grand Harbour, sister Melissa Robinson (Karl) of Brownville, two brothers, Gordon (Lindsey) of Seal Cove, and Dustin Flagg (Niomi) of Castalia, Jill’s children that he loved like his own, Traci Charters (Julian), their children Collin and Liam of North Head, Jacob Bagley (Suzanne) and their son Cainen of Deep Cove. Henry also is survived by Aunts, Uncles, two nieces, two nephews, many cousins and friends.

 

 There will be visitation on Thursday, May 24^th, 2018 at the Community Life Church, Grand Harbour, from 6:00 to 8:00PM. Funeral Service will be from the Church on Friday, May 25^th, 2018 at 1:30PM, with Rev. Karl Ingersoll officiating.  

The family would like to say Thank you to the Doctors and Staff of the Grand Manan Hospital, and also to The EMT’s at this time. Henry’s family have asked donation be made in Henry’s memory to The Grand Manan Hospital Foundation or to the donor’s choice.
