Ruth Madeline Green
1928-2018
Mrs. Ruth M. Green, of Grand Manan, NB passed away at the Grand Manan Nursing Home, on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Born in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of the late Gladstone and May (Clark) Carr. She was raised by her paternal grandmother, Lillian who she lovingly referred to as Momma.
Ruth worked at the Grand Manan Nursing Home for 25 years as a Nurse’s Aide until her retirement.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Deborah Ingalls (David) of Ingalls Head, two sons, Gregory Green (Adda) of Lake George, NB, Nicholas Green (Toby) of North Head, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great great granddaughters, one sister Phyllis Thorne of Pennfield, NB, one brother James Carr (Betty) of Burlington, ON, and many nieces and nephews.
Ruth is predeceased by her parents, her husband Adian Green (2007), an infant son (1945), and one sister Norma Nason (2008).
Visiting will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Grand Harbour, on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 12 noon until Funeral Service at 1:30 PM.
Ruth’s family has requested donations be made in her memory to St. Paul’s Anglican Church.
