Mr. R. Wayne Foote, of Saint John, NB, passed away peacefully, Friday, November 3, 2017, at Bobby’s Hospice, Saint John, NB, with his family by his side. He was the son of the late Abner and Laura (Pye) Foote. Wayne was born in North Head, Grand Manan, but lived most of his adult life in Saint John. He was a Zoo keeper and a fisherman.
Wayne will be missed by his family, he is survived by two daughters, Darla Foote (Jeffrey O’Brien) of Quispamsis, NB, Lynette Foote (Christopher Gaskill) of Castalia, Grand Manan; two sons, Allan (AJ) Foote (Brady Rimes) of Saint John, NB and Christopher Foote of Toronto, ON; two grandchildren Suzanne Gaskill, Taylor Fennelly; and one great grandson, Cainen Bagley, many and friends.
Visiting will take place at Covert Hall, North Head, on Thursday, November, 9, 2017 from 1-2pm, immediately followed by a grave side service at the North Head Community Cemetery.
Wayne’s family has requested donations be made to Bobby’s Hospice, Saint John, NB, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
