WILCOX: ILENE DAWN (SMALL) (1971 -2017)
Mrs. Ilene D. (Small) Wilcox of Grand Manan Island, NB passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, August 21, 2017 with her family by her side. Ilene is the daughter of Ruth E. Small of Grand Manan, NB and the late Phillip G. Greene (2017).
She spent lots of time on the shores of Grand Manan, picking dulse. She will be missed by family and friends.
Ilene is survived by her mother Ruth, of Castalia, three sons, Lee Wilcox (Jenni Corkum), Sumner Wilcox all of Grand Manan, NB, and Darian Small of PE, special friend, Allen Locke, one grandson, James Wilcox, one brother, Eugene Small (Courtney James), two step- sisters, Katheryn Mullen (Jimmy) and Kristen Greene, she also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting will take place at The Lighthouse Church on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 2- 4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral will be from the Church on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 1:00pm with Pastor Ruth Fair-Parker officiating.
Donation can be made in memory of Ilene to The Grand Manan Hospital Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
