Rowena Lois Tucker

TUCKER: ROWENA LOIS (1932-2017)

 

Mrs. Rowena Tucker, from North Head, Grand Manan, NB passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital on Saturday, July 29, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Clayton and Martha (French) Brown. Rowena worked at the Grand Manan Hospital for 29 years in the laundry department, she was a member of the Grand Manan Legion Branch #44 and also a member of the North Head Wesleyan Church until it closed in January of this year.

 

Rowena is survived by her son Clayton Tucker, of North Head, one granddaughter Jennie Tucker, of Castalia one grandson Dylan Tucker of Saint John, NB, two great grandchildren Ethan and Colby Cook, two sisters Helen Worthen of North Head, Mary Parker of Ontario and many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

She is predeceased by her husband Melvin Tucker (1986), one daughter Shirley Harris (2010) and one infant sister Lois.

 

Visiting will take place on Monday, July 31, 2017 from the North Head Baptist Church from 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be from the Church on Tuesday, August 1^st, 2017 at 1:30pm.

 

Donations in memory of Rowena may be made to The Grand Manan Legion Branch #44, The Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB or to the donor’s choice.
