Wiktor (Vic) Hornjak
1946-2016
HORNJAK, Wiktor (Vic) (1946-2016) Mr. Vic Hornjak, of Castalia, Grand Manan Island, NB passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital on Sunday, December 18th, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born in Ukraine.
Vic served in the Armed Forces for twenty five years, and then worked for DND for fifteen years until his retirement.
Vic is survived by his wife, Sheila J. (Green) Tate Hornjak, his mother-in-law Vera Green, four step-daughters Sonya Tate, Dierdre Tate (Carl), Victoria Foster (Glenn), Jennifer Bokesch (Sam), and all of the extended family.
Donations in Vic’s memory can be made to The Grand Manan Hospital Foundation, Charlotte County Cancer Society, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Visiting will take place from Ells Funeral Home on Wednesday December 28, 2016 from 6-8 pm, the funeral service will be Thursday December 29, 2016 at 1:30pm from the Community Life Church.
