Leah Ingersoll

INGERSOLL, LEAH ORAL: (1934-2016) Mrs. Leah O. Ingersoll from North Head, Grand Manan Island, NB passed away at the Grand Manan Nursing Home on Friday, September 30^th, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and the late Mary (Schofield) Green. Leah was a Nurse’s Aide at the Grand Manan Hospital for thirteen years, after her retirement she dedicated her time to volunteering. She spent a lot of her days at the Grand Manan Nursing Home helping or simply visiting with the residents. Leah was faithful to her Lord and her Church; she was a Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir and was a board member.  

Leah is survived by her son, Joseph Ingersoll of North Head; by her granddaughter, Lawron Ingersoll; by her brother, Stanley (Mary) Green of North Head. She is predeceased by her husband Lawson Ingersoll (1994); by her four sisters, Elsie Brown, Velda Randall, Glenna Jones and Olive Brown; by her two brothers, Austin Green and Malcolm Green.

Visitation will be held at North Head Wesleyan Church, North Head on Sunday, October 2^nd, 2016 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral service will be held from the North Head Wesleyan Church on Monday, October 3^rd, 2016 at 1:00pm with Rev. Steve Bradley officiating. Burial to follow at North Head Cemetery.
