Gregory Dean Small

SMALL: GREGORY DEAN (1947-2016) Mr. Gregory Small of North Head Grand Manan Island, NB passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital on Monday, September 26, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born the son of the late Fletcher Rex and Zelma Blanche (Tidd) Small. In his younger years Greg was a fisherman, later a carpenter, he was employed by General Marine repairing fishing boats, and for the last sixteen years of his working life he was in charge of the maintenance at the Grand Manan Hospital.

Greg is survived by his wife of forty six years, Ronna (Brown) Small, two daughters Stephanie (Christopher) Baker of Ottawa and Christina Small (Donald (Bub) Harris) of Grand Harbour, one sister Janice Small of North Head, two brothers Stanley (Arlene) Small of Browns Flat and Merrill (Laura) Small, six grandchildren, one great grandson and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and one brother Earl Small.

Visiting will take place at the North Head Wesleyan Church, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Thursday September 29^th, 2016 the funeral service will be from the Church on Friday September 30^th, 2016 at 1:00pm. Donations in Greg’s memory can be made to Charlotte County Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
