William James Shutes

Mr. William James Shutes formerly of Wellsboro, PA., passed away at Fort Lauderdale FL. on November 7, 2015 following a brief illness.  Bill as he was known by his family and friends was a kind gentle person who will be remembered for his caring personality, his love for children, and how he enjoyed seeing people smile.  Never wanting to see people around him hurting or down over life’s struggles Bill would often times put others needs ahead of his own well-being. He was a Christian man and most of all he cherished every moment he spent with his son Crae and the time he had raising him. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and love him.  He is survived by his father James M. (Ubelia) Shutes of FL., his mother Virginia  "Ginny" (George) Riseborough of Grand Manan Island, NB, Canada.  His son Crae of AZ. Four  brothers ; Michael J. (Tiffany) Shutes of  Myrtle Beach, SC., Richard A. Shutes of FL., Randy (Danielle) Riseborough of Nantucket, MA., and Kenneth  (Denise) Riseborough also of Nantucket, MA., and Gadsen, AL. Also two sisters; Heather (Duane) Morgan of Mansfield, PA., and Erika (Tim) Price of Tampa, FL.; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends he made along his journey through life.  He was predeceased by one son Cael and friend Ruthann Trabulsi.

A memorial service will take place at Roseville United Methodist Church, Roseville, PA., on December 12, 2015 at 11:00 am with Pastor Tim Parker officiating.
