Russell Paul Guptill

Mr. Russell Paul Guptill formerly of Grand Manan Island passed away peacefully at the Eckville Manor, Eckville, AB on Sunday August 30, 2015.  Russell worked in his early years as a fisherman and always had a love for the sea and working on the ocean.  Later he worked in forestry operating heavy equipment or anything he could satisfy his love for driving with.  He had a love for animals and nature.  When around people he had the ability to make people smile and laugh with his quick sense of humor.  He made friends easily and everyone who knew him enjoyed his company. He is survived by his step-father Harry Greene of North Head, one sister Carolyn Green, of Seal Cove. Three brothers; Roger Guptill (Faye) of Castalia, Dornell Greene of Castalia, Curtis Parks of St. George, and Elton Greene of Castalia.  He was predeceased by his mother Lena Greene in December of 2013.

Visiting will take place at the Community Life Church on Wednesday from 7-9 pm.  The funeral service will take place at the Community Life Church, Grand Harbour on Thursday September 10, 2015 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Karl Ingersoll officiating, and Rev. Ron Ford assisting.
